For this week’s meditation, we needed to invent our own oracle deck. Oracle decks are similar to tarot decks, but they don’t necessarily have to have 78 cards or the imagery associated with tarot cards. You can make your oracle deck on types of flowers, animals, condiments or whatever else you please.

I decided to base my oracle deck on reddit subreddits. I made 22 cards, based on the major Arcana of the tarot, and selected the most popular subbreddits I could find. Since the major Arcana “reflects key archetypes or spiritual lessons in our lives,” I feel like subreddits do the same when it comes to the internet and its psyche.
